Sun Lights

Each Sun Light is handmade, no two pieces are ever the same. At Sunbeam Jackie, we approach lighting design as sculptors, focusing on artistic details and craftsmanship. Our bespoke lighting pieces are designed to create special atmospheres, we see them as light pieces but also electric paintings.

Each light is custom-made to the client’s vision, tailored options for materials and design elements are offered. Whether creating a statement light for a private collection or a collection of custom pieces for a commercial project, every piece is a work of art.

Available in a range of colours and fully customisable, these unique lights can incorporate flowers, foliage or stone from special places or events, making them deeply personal.

Created as a luminous unique floral arrangement, hand-picked flowers from the Cornish clifftops and meadows surrounding the Sunbeam Jackie studio are pressed between coloured glass and sit within an aged treated copper frame. Sun Flower Light is a glowing fusion of nature and technology – neon-natural – doubling as both a functional light and a standalone artwork.

Exploring Cornwall’s beaches, caves and cliffs, Charlie was drawn to the region’s ancient geology and rich mining heritage. Fascinated by the idea of using local rock and minerals in Sunbeam Jackie’s work, he began collecting and experimenting. Slicing stone thinly with specialist tools, the Rock Light emerged - each piece revealing the land’s hidden depths. Charlie and Katy wove these geological discoveries into their shared sculptural process, creating the luminous works presented here.
